Dr. Linda H. Lin

Board certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Amy Schefler’s clinical interests include retinoblastoma, uveal melanoma, benign and malignant eye tumors. In practice since 2004, she sees patients of all ages and speaks Spanish. Dr. Schefler earned her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. She completed both a residency and fellowship at the University of Miami (Florida)’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute-Anne Bates Leach Eye Hospital. She underwent additional training at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She also completed a surgical fellowship in vitreoretinal disease at Tufts Medical Center’s New England Eye Center and the Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. Board certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Chen is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Texas Medical Association, the Association for Vision and Research in Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retinal Specialists. She has published articles in medical journals and presented research at national meetings on various topics, including the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and vitreoretinal surgery. Dr. Chen is married to an ophthalmologist. Away from her practice, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and spending time with her friends and family.
