Dr. Michael D. Jibson

A native of California, education included a BA in chemistry and psychology from University of California Santa Cruz, PhD in biochemistry from the University of California San Francisco, postdoctoral work in chemical immunology at the Weizmann Institute, MD from the University of California Davis, and psychiatry residency and fellowship at Stanford University, with appointment to the University of Michigan faculty in 1993.

His clinical expertise encompasses Bipolar Disorder (BPD), Major Depression, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

He is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 21 peer reviewed articles.
