Dr. Nagakrishnal Nachimuthu

Dr. Nagakrishnal Nachimuthu is an experienced board certified internal medicine and infectious disease physician who is an assistant professor with Baylor College of Medicine. She grew up in India and was inspired to become a physician by seeing how physicians were able to impact a community. Dr. Nachimuthu graduated from University of Kerala, a prestigious medical school in India. She completed her internal medicine internship at the University of Buffalo – Catholic Health System. After graduating with honors from internal medicine residency at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey, she pursued her fellowship training in infectious disease from the University of Texas Health Science Center MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Nachimuthu is a leader for Antimicrobial Stewardship and served as Chief of Staff at St. Luke’s Health Livingston Hospital. She also serves as a board of director with the Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Group. Dr. Nachimuthu takes every opportunity to spend time with her patients, educates them about their condition and provides comprehensive management and preventive view regarding various aspects of their medical condition. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, swimming and traveling.
