Overview
Olivia Hartman, PA-C grew up in southern Chester County and still resides there today. She attended California Lutheran University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology, graduatingsumma cum laudewith departmental distinction. After graduation, she spent her gap year working as a medical assistant at a local family practice while she applied to graduate school. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing piano, baking and photography. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew that I wanted a career working with children. Being in pediatrics marries my love of medicine with my passion for advocating for the youngest members of our community. I love the idea of being able to follow my patients as they grow older and being able to develop meaningful relationships with patients and their families. I am passionate about patient education and being able to take the time to teach patients and their families about their conditions. I was drawn to ophthalmology because of its unique ability to be involved in the care of both inpatients and outpatients, as well as participate in surgeries. This exposes me to a wide variety of cases that present a lot of opportunity for me to continue to learn and grow, both as a provider and in the field. In my role as a physician assistant, I am an extension of the attending doctors. I strive to live up to the PA oath, always looking to expand my knowledge to continuously provide the best care for my patients. I also hope to make care more accessible to those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to see a provider or be faced with prolonged waits.
Her top areas of expertise are Eyelid Bump, Neurofibromatosis, RASopathies, and Legius Syndrome.
