After fellowship, Dr. Fabro remained on staff at Wilford Hall Medical Center where he was appointed Pulmonary Flight Commander, Medical Director of Outpatient Pulmonary Services and Assistant Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Clinic. During his military service, Dr. Fabro earned several citations including the Meritorious Service Medal, Aerial Achievement Medal, and the Air Force Commendation Medal. After 11 years of active military service in the Air Force and 3 deployments, Dr. Fabro voluntarily separated and was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 2012. Dr. Fabro, his wife, and two children then relocated to Rockwall, Texas to begin private practice.
