She completed a combined internal medicine/pediatrics residency, as well as pediatric cardiology, adult cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging fellowships at Duke University Medical Center. Her current research examines heart failure complications in patients with repaired tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart defect.
