Dr. Carney received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. He completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center (UT Health) at Houston. He is an assistant professor in the department of Internal Medicine at UT Health. Dr. Carney is board-certified in internal medicine.
