Scott Maurer, MD, is a pediatric palliative care physician and a pediatric oncologist. Dr. Maurer is certified in pediatrics, pediatric hematology/oncology, and hospice and palliative medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is the chief of the division of palliative medicine and supportive care at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
