Overview
Dr. Secily Torn was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. Following graduation from Texas A&M University, she earned her medical degree and completed her pediatrics residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Torn is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has practiced medicine in Houston since 2002. Dr. Torn joined Blue Fish Pediatrics in 2006 where she practices alongside physicians including her sister, Dr. Amanda Brack. Dr. Torn and her husband have three boys and a girl. They attend The Fellowship of Memorial where they are involved with a non-profit that serves underprivileged children in the area. Dr. Torn has co-hosted “Ask the Doctors” on Houston radio. In her spare time she enjoys tennis, running, hiking, and spends part of her summers as the camp doctor at Camp Ozark.
