I grew up in a time when careers were limited to law, medicine or engineering. Medicine allowed me to work in a compassionate, human setting. Over the years, I developed an interest in cardiology and never saw myself as anything but a cardiologist. I was fascinated by the workings of the heart, its profound effects on people's lives and how to help people take care of themselves. My job and my patients provide me with constant motivation to do more. I like nothing better than hearing my patients say that they feel better and are back to the business of living life.
