Overview
Philosophy of care | I practice evidence-based medicine through shared decision making. I take into account your individual and family dynamics to help fulfill your health needs. | Why I entered medicine | I had wanted to become a doctor since I was in first grade. Growing up and seeing my father and family members helping others, I wanted to be in a career where I could also serve families. When I took care of my grandfather who unfortunately had lost his eyesight, he would tell me that the way I took care of him was why I would be a successful doctor. As I grew up, studied diligently to get into medical school. I never thought of any career other than medicine. I believe it's a great privilege to be able to help people when they are at their most vulnerable. | Community involvement | I am working with Imamia Medics International (IMI) NJ, a United Nations–accredited medical organization. We arrange medical camps at the national level and professional guidance seminars for international and national medical graduates. I am working with local community leaders (Mayors' office & local religious centers) to set up a mobile medical clinic which can offer basic health services in the Lehigh Valley region. | Personal interests | I enjoy jogging, biking, broadcast journalism (I am a commentator on international TV shows), gardening, travelling and above all spending time with my two lovely kids and wife.
