Dr. Park is a Associate Professor of Neurology (in Biomedical informatics) at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and Associate Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center (NYP/CUIMC). Dr. Park received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. After completing her Neurology residency at Boston University Medical Center, she completed Stroke and Critical Care Neurology fellowships at the Massachusetts General & Brigham and Women's Hospitals.Dr. Park provides care for patients with acute brain and spine injury in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit at NYP/CUIMC. She is the Director of the Program for Hospital and Intensive Care Informatics. She is also the Medical Director of Critical Care Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She is board certified in Neurology, Stroke, and Neurocritical Care. She is a Fellow of the American Heart Association and the Neurocritical Care Society. She serves as a board trustee for the Society for Complex Acute Illness and the Treasurer of the Neurocritical Care Society.Dr. Park’s research focuses on the development and clinical evaluation of innovative decision support tools in neurocritical care. Using continuous physiologic monitors and electronic medical record data, her work explores the optimal methods for creating predictive models to improve timeliness and precision in the diagnosis of preclinical syndromes in critical care. She was a recipient of an NIH K01 Career Development Award in Biomedical Big Data Science (Big Data to Knowledge, BD2K), and her research is now supported by the NINDS.
