Soumya Manikonda, DO is a board-certified general pediatrician located in Glen Mills, PA. I chose general pediatrics as my career path because of my love for working with children and promoting their well-being from an early age. I was blessed to have an incredible, astute pediatrician growing up, and I remember how much of an impact my physician had on my understanding of health, well-being and self-empowerment. The opportunity to form long-term relationships with patients and their families while providing comprehensive medical care and preventive services is incredibly rewarding. Being an outpatient pediatrician keeps me on my toes with its diverse range of cases and complexity, all the while giving me an avenue to make a positive impact on the lives of young patients and my community! I am passionate about providing accessible health care to all and watching children grow and thrive at each stage of life. Further, my training at Nemours Children’s Health inspired a particular interest and comfort in treating children of varying medical complexity. Lastly, medical education has fueled me each day. Getting to teach and learn from the incredible trainees, health care providers and staff of our amazing network has been on ongoing joy!.
