He received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Development from Montana State University in Bozeman.  He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington as a matriculate of the WWAMI program. Following medical school, Dr. Flanagan completed a year-long internship in internal medicine and a three-year residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Since finishing residency, he has practiced at multiple locations in Montana. He is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Flanagan’s professional interests include electromyography and nerve conduction studies, spasticity management, musculoskeletal medicine, and functional management of chronic neurological disorders and injuries.“I aim to provide individualized care to improve function and quality of life for those with acute and chronic conditions.”In his free time, Dr. Flanagan continues to enjoy the Montana outdoors. He enjoys hunting, shooting sports, archery, fishing, hiking and camping. At home, he likes cooking, game meat processing, reading, and spending time with his family and dog.
