"Dr. Tariq is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. His fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Saint Louis University was completed in 2011. Prior to that he had earned board certification in geriatrics and spent over 10 years in the practice of geriatrics and internal medicine, which included patient care, research and teaching, and several directorships of geriatric programs in the St. Louis area. Dr. Tariq's fellowship in geriatrics was served at Saint Louis University, as was his internal medicine residency. ""My years in geriatric medicine were very rewarding.
