Dr. Tejas Desai

A native Houstonian, Dr. Tejas Desai graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston and received his medical education at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He completed his internship and residency in dermatology at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach in California, where he was named a distinguished resident. He subsequently completed his dermatology and surgical fellowship at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. Board certified in dermatology, Dr. Desai has clinical interests that include Mohs micrographic surgery surgical dermatology, skin cancer treatments, general dermatology, cosmetic and aesthetic procedures. Dr. Desai’s patient philosophy is to provide quality medical care to patients of all ages using a holistic approach to medicine. He takes pride in building lasting relationships with his patients and making them happy. The author of scholarly articles in dermatology journals and dermatology textbooks, Dr. Desai has served on the Loma Linda Melanoma Tumor Board, as an adjunct professor at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and mentors students. He is actively involved in community outreach programs including skin exams for firemen, policemen and professional athletes and has participated in medical missions. His hobbies include tennis and travelling and mentoring students.
