Dr. Vivek Mehta is a Board Certified, fellowship trained Spine Specialist.
Dr. Mehta utilizes Electrodiagnostic Medicine to complement a thorough physical examination and imaging studies in the evaluation of musculoskeletal & spine disorders
After completing a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, he completed an Interventional Spine Fellowship at The Orthopedic Clinic Association in Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. Mehta has provided team coverage from high school to the professional level for various sports including football, basketball, hockey and baseball. Dr. Mehta was a Spine Consultant for the NBA Phoenix Suns, WNBA Phoenix Mercury and Arizona State University Football teams.
Dr. Mehta is a member of the North American Spine Society and American Medical Society of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Mehta sees patients at all of New York Pain Care’s convenient locations, including Union Square & Midtown in NYC as well as New Jersey.
His clinical expertise encompasses Cervical Spondylosis, Herniated Disk, Chronic Pain, and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
