Overview
Dr. William Pielop is a native Houstonian. He went to high school at Kinkaid and graduated from Duke University where he majored in Biology and Spanish. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his residency training in pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. Board certified in pediatrics, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Pielop has been practicing medicine in Houston since 2002. In 2005, Dr. Pielop joined Dr. Peter Jung to begin Blue Fish Pediatrics. He is a firm believer in patient education and developing long term relationships with his patients and their families. His practice is committed to evidence-based, preventative medicine and the judicious use of medications. He and his wife have three sons and attend Second Baptist Church. Away from the office, he enjoys the outdoors, bird hunting, arrowhead collecting, saltwater fishing, and gardening.
