She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed her undergraduate degree with Highest Honors from University of Virginia. For more than 20 years, she shared her passion for the profession by teaching residents and medical students at University of Washington. In her free time, Dr. Despreaux enjoys watching her sons play sports and volunteering at their schools.
