Dr. Neelesh Rastogi
Overview
Neelesh Rastogi, MD, is a physician with Atlantic Medical Group Gastroenterology at Summit, specializing in chronic and acute conditions of the digestive system. Fellowship-trained in gastroenterology and board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he treats a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions including colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome and ulcerative colitis. He also treats chronic liver diseases including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.Dr. Rastogi understands the difficulties that gastrointestinal issues present for patients. He is an expert in state-of-the-art technology and employs the latest endoscopic procedures to diagnose and treat parts of the digestive tract to improve lives. With skill and empathy, he takes the time to listen to patients and guides them through a treatment plan so they can continue to be active and healthy. Dr. Rastogi has collaborated on numerous research studies in gastroenterology and has presented at professional meetings in his field. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.After earning his medical degree from New York University Grossman School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency training, Dr. Rastogi remained at several NYU-affiliated sites including NYU Langone Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital Center, and Manhattan Harbor VA Medical Center. He pursued a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, NY. Dr. Rastogi is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
