Overview
Dr. Graeme Steele is The Professor Walter Morris-Hale Distinguished Chair in Urologic Oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, surgical oncologist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. He received his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed his internship in general surgery at Johannesburg Hospital. He completed residencies in general surgery and urology at the University of Witwatersrand Medical School in Johannesburg, South Africa, and became head of their Department of Urology Medical School.In 1995, he moved to Boston and completed his urology residency at the Harvard Urology Residency Program and received his fellowship in urology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Steele is board certified in urology.The author of numerous clinical publications, Dr. Steele has conducted research studies focusing on benign prostatic hyperplasia, urodynamic evaluation, bladder cancer, urinary cancer and testicular cancer. His clinical specialties include: urinary incontinence, urodynamic studies, urologic oncology and voiding dysfunction.
