Overview
Austin Evans, MD, earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida - Jacksonville. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia. Dr. Evans has been practicing medicine for 4 years. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Evans completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Evans specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, low-risk and high-risk obstetric care, comprehensive gynecologic care care, preventative health, and cancer screening. Dr. Evans has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and robotic surgery; vaginal surgery; pelvic floor disorders; family planning; and women's health advocacy.
In his spare time, Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with his family, Georgia sports, DIY and woodworking, and reading.
