Overview
Dr. Aminian specializes in the care and treatment of foot and ankle disorders. He is originally from Chicago. He completed his undergraduate studies at Washington University, St. Louis earning a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering; then pursued medical school at the University of Rochester, Rochester NY; and internship and orthopaedic residency at Northwestern University, Chicago. He served as the Chief resident his senior year of residency.
He completed his fellowship training in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery at the University of Washington, Seattle with Drs. Hansen, Sangeorzan, and Benirschke.
During his training, Dr. Aminian has published many research articles in peer reviewed journals, and has presented his work bothnationally and internationally. He serves as a peer reviewer for the American Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He continues to be active academically and is the Assistant Chief of the Foot and Ankle Service at Harbor UCLA, training orthopaedic surgery residents.
