L. Christopher Grandizio, DO, is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hand, wrist, shoulder and elbow surgery. Dr. Grandizio is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and serves as the of the Chief of Shoulder & Elbow Division for the Geisinger Musculoskeletal Institute. In 2021, he was selected to participate in the Young Leaders Program for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH).|Dr. Grandizio maintains a strong interest in both research and education. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed research articles. As an expert in the management of complex elbow instability, Dr. Grandizio has been invited to give numerous national and international presentations on topics ranging from upper-extremity trauma to technology in healthcare. He serves as a peer-reviewer for multiple orthopaedic journals and is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Hand Surgery. As part of his commitment to education, he is heavily engaged in professional societies and is involved in multiple committees and leadership positions within the ASSH. In addition, Dr. Grandizio is one of the few upper-extremity surgeons who is a member of both the ASSH and ASES.|A former member of Bucknell University’s NCAA Division I baseball team, Dr. Grandizio has a long history in athletics and enjoys helping his patients return to doing what they love. He specializes in elbow ulnar collateral ligament repair / reconstruction (Tommy John Surgery) and has a passion for working with throwing athletes.|In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching baseball and reading.

William Fred Hess, MD, is the chief of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at Geisinger Musculoskeletal Institute. Dr. Hess received his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla., where he also completed his general surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency. He completed the Rae R. Jacobs Spine Fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center and has been a member of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Geisinger since 1990. He is a member of the Scoliosis Research Society, as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Ryan Matthew Sutton, MD, specializes in hip and knee care, from joint preservation to complex joint replacement.
