Overview

I am an infectious diseases physician with a focus on persons who have HIV. One of my major clinical and research interests is HIV prevention, such as rapid HIV testing and prevention through pre-exposure prophylaxis or PrEP in which people can take one pill per day to prevent HIV. I serve as the Medical Director of the Duke PrEP Clinic and have a number of projects in the community involving PrEP, including with populations who are difficult to reach. I am originally from Arizona, and love to hike, ski, and spend time with my family and friends.
