Parin Parikh, M.D., FACC, is a native Texan, having grown up in Plano and attended Plano Senior High School. He graduated from Yale University in New Haven, Conn., with honors and obtained his medical degree at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. Currently, less than five percent of the procedures in the United States are being performed using this new, innovative approach.Parikh also has specialty training in non-invasive cardiac and vascular imaging, including echocardiography, stress tests, nuclear medicine and peripheral vascular ultrasound studies. Ahmad Zankar, M.D., FACC, is fellowship-trained in general cardiology and interventional cardiology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and board-certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology.
