Cassandra Roeca, M.D., earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She then started her postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital to complete residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. It was there that Dr. Roeca was awarded the Eman and Goldstein Pediatric Gynecology Award. A Colorado native, Dr. Roeca returned to the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus where she completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). Dr. Roeca is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Roeca is passionate about fertility preservation in patients with cancer or medical diagnoses that place them at risk of infertility. Dr. Roeca is interested in researching solutions to help patients overcome infertility hurdles and fulfill their dreams of having a healthy baby. She is also an advocate for improving access to fertility services. An avid researcher, Dr. Roeca has authored several peer-reviewed publications on topics such as preimplantation genetic testing, fertility preservation, menopause and in vitro fertilization, as well as contributed to an article on ovulation. Her degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, influences her expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility for patients with cancer, genetically linked mutations, and transmitted diseases. Dr. Roeca is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), American Medical Association, American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI).
