Overview
I specialize in pulmonology and critical care. When caring for patients, I pushed myself to learn everything possible to help them regain a good quality of life. My patients appreciate my close communication with them. I have learned that no matter what the news is or whatever the outcome may be, it is crucial to reach out and speak to our patients to discuss findings and plans for care. I am happy to have the opportunity to do what I have trained for my entire life. I thank God for this blessing and will work hard to serve and give back to my community. In my personal life, I'm happily married and have three beautiful daughters.

Duke Allergy And Pulmonary South Durham
My clinical interest lies in the care of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit, as well as general pulmonary consultation for both inpatients and outpatients. In addition to my medical training, I have a scientific background in signal transduction and immunity. This dual training allows me to explain to my patients not only why something is happening, but also the mechanisms of how the body and the treatment works. In this way, I am able to engage my patients and their families and caregivers so that they can make informed decisions. Having recently moved to North Carolina, my family and I have enjoyed exploring the variety of hikes and activities found in the Durham area and many state and national parks.
