Dr. El-Bogdadi is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology and a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.S. degree in biological studies and received his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. Her research was recognized in the form of awards and scholarships through the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes for Health, and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. She has contributed to the Journal of Biological Chemistry and her research was presented in multiple national abstract meetings. Dr. Ziglar finds involvement in healthcare advocacy meaningful. While a member of the American College of Rheumatology’s Government Affairs Committee, she led the 2019-2022 revisions of the College’s Health Policy Statement.
