Overview
Dr. David Bond is a clinician-scientist with 20 years of experience in treating people with bipolar disorder. His main clinical interests are the diagnosis and treatment of early-stage bipolar disorder, bipolar depression, and co-occurring conditions like anxiety disorders and ADHD. He has been an investigator in numerous clinical trials investigating the effectiveness and safety of treatments for bipolar disorder. Dr. Bond co-authored the 2013, 2018, and 2021 Canadian Network for Mood and Anxiety Treatments/International Society for Bipolar Disorders (CANMAT/ISBD) Guidelines for the Management of Patients with Bipolar Disorder, the most widely used treatment guidelines worldwide.
