Dr. Victoria R. Sharon

Dr. Sharon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra / Northwell. She is board-certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, and she is an ACGME fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon. Dr. Sharon is the Director of Dermatologic Surgery and Dermato-Oncology at Northwell Health.

Dr. Sharon graduated Summa Cum Laude from Columbia University. She earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Sharon completed her internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital at Harvard Medical School and her dermatology residency at the University of California, Davis. She pursued additional specialized training in cutaneous oncology and laser therapy by completing a fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology at Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Sharon also has a special interest in international volunteerism and global health, and she obtained a Diploma in Tropical Medicine at the Gorgas Memorial Institute in Peru.

Dr. Sharon s primary area of focus is in diagnosis and management, including Mohs surgery, of skin cancer- melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and rare tumors.
