Dr. Matthew M. Malerich

Dr. Wong is a fellowship trained hand and microsurgeon. Completing this sub-specialty fellowship through Harvard Medical School, Dr. Wong trained with world-renowned orthopedic surgeons at The Beth Israel Deaconesses Hospital, Children Hospital of Boston, The New England Baptist Hospital, and the Shriners Hospital for Children. Dr. Wong completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona and attended Osteopathic Medical School in Kansas City, Missouri. He then went on to complete six years of general surgery training at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield. He is happy to return to the community that he has been serving for the greater part of a decade, to help provide comprehensive upper extremity care alongside his colleagues at Dignity Health Surgical Specialists–Southwest. In his free time Dr. Wong, enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, photography and keeping up with his dogs.Care is given with compassion and dignity to every patient, not only for the treatment of injury and sickness, but for the maintenance of health and prevention of illness as well.
