Dr. Judith P. Brody

Judith Paula Brody, MD, is a Board-certified hematopathologist, Professor in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and past Senior Director of the Division of Hematopathology in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory at NSLIJ, a member of the department since 1986. With expertise in both anatomic and clinical pathology, Dr. Brody specializes in the diagnosis of hematologic disorders from tissue samples like bone marrow. She also oversees one of the laboratories responsible for testing related to hematologic disorders. She completed her MD degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and pursued her residencies at the University of Virginia in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology, and at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, and was a member of the hematopathology department at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center prior to NSLIJ position. It is important to note that Dr. Brody does not see patients in a clinical capacity and kindly requests not to be contacted for appointments as a clinical hematologist.
