Dr. Brenda Peabody

Brenda K. Peabody, M.D., F.A.C.C., is a native Houstonian and received her medical degree from Texas A&M University in College Station. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Texas A&M Health Sciences Center, Scott & White, in Temple, Texas. Dr. Peabody is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Peabody has been working since 1995 and joined The Woodlands North Houston Heart and Vein Center in 2002. She specializes in all aspects of non-invasive and preventive cardiology. Dr. Peabody enjoys giving interactive educational lectures to the community and has spoken for the Montgomery County Division of the American Heart Association on the topic of women and heart disease. She has also served on the board of the American Heart Association of Northwest Harris County. Her hospital affiliations include Houston Northwest Medical Center, Memorial Herman Hospital-The Woodlands, and St. Luke's Community Medical Center-The Woodlands. Dr. Peabody serves as co-chair for the department of Cardiology at Memorial Herman Hospital-The Woodlands. Dr. Peabody's philosophy is that good medical care should involve a cooperative effort between the patient and the physician.
