Philosophy of care | Everything we do can affect our cardiovascular health. So me treating you is about more than medicine and potential procedures. It’s about how you live your life, your ability to deal with stress, what you eat and how much you exercise, and the quality of your personal relationships. All of it can affect heart health. Getting to know you as my patient is really important. | Why I entered medicine | I have an audio recording of me as a 3-year-old saying I wanted to be a doctor just like my dad. He’s a retired cardiologist and I found out what a wonderful job this was by watching him take care of people over the years. I never considered doing anything else. | Personal interests | I enjoy watching the Eagles during football season, going for long walks, meditation and just spending time with family and friends. Recently, I’ve become involved with personal and professional acupuncture training, learning how I can apply it to cardiovascular disease.
