Michelle Petri, M.D. is a Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She attended medical school at Harvard University and fulfilled her internal medicine residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Timlin has been an active educator who works with trainees at all levels, nationally and internationally, in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Presently, Dr. Timlin has established a retrospective cohort of several hundred patients with lupus and lupus nephritis, and site lead at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Dr. Timlin is the medical chair for the local chapter of Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) and the director of an IRB-approved prospective human diagnostic study using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to evaluate lupus nephritis.
