Anthony J. Longo, MD, is a primary care physician with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he specializes in primary care for adults of all ages. Dr. Longo is dedicated to each patient’s overall well-being, offering a full range of services, from preventative routine physical exams to managing acute and chronic illnesses. He strives to provide the highest quality of care for his patients.Dr. Longo earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, where he cofounded and chaired the Newark Junior Mentoring Society, recruiting medical school students to mentor and tutor hundreds of at-risk local students. There, he was voted by his student doctor peers to receive the Dean’s Award at graduation, for four years of “demonstrating the high ideals of medicine.” He completed his internal medicine residency at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ, where he received several awards including Categorical PGY-1 Resident of the Year.An avid educator, Dr. Longo serves as clinical instructor of medicine to medical students and medical residents at Morristown Medical Center.Dr. Longo is the recipient of several awards, including the Outstanding Systems-Based Practice Award, the Gloria and John C.Y. Fei Award for Excellence in Education, the Outstanding “Second Site” Primary Care Attending Award at Morristown Medical Center, and the Healing Hands Award for exemplary care. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
