Dr. Ragesh Panikkath

Alex Harrison, MD, FACC is a board certified cardiologist serving the community of Santa Maria as well as offering noninvasive outpatient cardiovascular imaging services at C4 Imaging. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Medical Doctorate degrees from the University of California, San Diego. He then completed internal medicine training with Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego and cardiovascular fellowship training at the University of California, Irvine. He performs angiograms and implants pacemakers and defibrillators. Additionally, he has clinical and research expertise in the cutting edge field of cardiovascular imaging including appropriate use and interpretation of cardiac CT angiography and cardiac MRI studies. He founded Santa Marias first outpatient cardiac nuclear myocardial perfusion program and is the Director of Central Coast Comprehensive Cardiovascular (C4) Imaging. He was named in 2011 and currently acts as the Director of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Department at Marian Regional Medical Center. He was elected by his peers to serve as the Chief of Cardiology at Marian Regional Medical Center for 2012 and 2013. Dr. Harrison is fluent in both English and Spanish; his services are available to adult cardiovascular patients. Dr. Fletcher is a California native and moved to the San Luis Obispo area in 1998. She received her M.D. degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1991. Additional training includes a Masters Degree in Public Health from Tulane University and Internal Medicine residency at Duke University. She did her Cardiology Fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California from 1995-1998. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology.She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology with additional training in coronary CT angiography. Her areas of specialty include cardiac rehabilitation, preventative cardiology and noninvasive myocardial imaging with nuclear imaging and echocardiography. She is the director of Coastal Cardiology’s state of the art nuclear imaging laboratory. When not working she is busy running marathons or just running after her two children.
