Dr. Charles A. Iliya

Dallas native Dr. Charles Iliya is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is dual board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care, with additional specialization in trauma and vascular surgery. Dr. Iliya graduated from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his general surgery residency training at St. Paul Medical Center, also in Dallas. He went on to complete his vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.Dr. Iliya has been on the medical staff of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas for more than 25 years. He has decades of experience in the use of advanced and minimally invasive surgical techniques, with vascular surgery as his area of special interest. In 2005, Dr. Iliya championed the National Vascular Access Improvement Initiative. He has been honored with the President’s Recognition Award given out by the Presbyterian Healthcare System.Previously, Dr. Iliya served as a Clinical Instructor and Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical School. He also served as Chief of Medical Staff for Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – White Rock in Dallas. He speaks fluent Spanish.
