Overview
Dr Nimeri is the director of Bariatric Surgery and is on faculty at Harvard Medical School. He served in several leadership roles in national and international bariatric surgery societies. He is the Secretary/Treasurer of International Federation for Surgery of Obesity (IFSO). Dr Nimeri is an associate editor of Obesity Surgery journal and past President of the IFSO MENA chapter (Middle East & North Africa Chapter of the International Federation for Surgery of Obesity) and past president of the Pan Arab Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (PASMBS). Dr Nimeri authored numerous publications and book chapters and delivered hundreds of national and international presentations. Dr Nimeri is dedicated to surgical education and quality and has received numerous teaching, mentorship and international leadership awards.
