Vascular disease can affect every organ in the body, and if left undiagnosed or untreated, can lead to strokes, heart attacks, kidney failure, and blockages of blood flow to the arms and legs. My clinical and research interests, therefore, have been focused on understanding how high BP, elevated cholesterol and chronic inflammation can affect blood vessels and to find new ways to help keep vessels healthy.
