Overview
I treat a variety of skin conditions and disorders with a particular focus on cutaneous cancers (melanoma, basal, and squamous cell carcinoma). I am hoping to increase access to dermatology by expanding our tele-dermatology service. I am interested in applying technology in an innovative fashion to dermatology. On a personal level, my husband and I are foodies and ever-searching for the best restaurants.

Shuffling between Birmingham and Boston for my medical training, I have settled in beautiful North Carolina with my husband who is a fellow in Hematology/Oncology at the University of North Carolina. Being a part of Duke’s amazing medical community has allowed me to pursue my clinical interest in complex medical dermatology and my translational research interest in neutrophilic skin diseases such as psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa. I am actively working on projects that focus on antibody-based therapies targeting immune dysregulation in skin disease. The most gratifying experiences for me as a physician have been providing treatment and support to patients struggling with skin diseases and contributing to improvements in their overall quality of life.
