Dr. Khan received her medical degree from the prestigious King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. She moved to the Atlanta area soon after finishing medical school and started her internal medicine residency at the Morehouse School of Medicine. On the way to completing her training at Morehouse and Grady Hospital, she was named Intern of the Year. Her passion for endocrinology led her to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (UTMB) where she completed her fellowship training in 2013. She decided to remain with UTMB and served as the Assistant Professor in the endocrinology department while building a thriving practice.
