Dr. John L. Couvaras

A double board certified fertility specialist at IVF Phoenix™, leads the friendly and experienced team at IVF Phoenix™. Dr. Couvaras is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist who received his training at the prestigious University of Texas Southwest Medical Center and completed his internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Dallas. He is also board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. He was the past director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Assisted Reproductive Medicine and past chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Abrazo Scottsdale Hospital. Dr Couvaras served as the 2017 President of Maricopa Medical Society, and has been on the Board Member since 2013. He has also served on the board of Phoenix OBGYN Society 2014-2015. Dr Couvaras is married to his wife, Rhoda and is a proud father of his two sons, Lucas and John.

He is certified operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, and microsurgical tubal and pelvic surgery. His expertise includes all aspects of female reproductive medicine and surgery.
