She received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska where she was an Alpha Omega Alpha, however prior to training in dermatology, she completed 2 years of Internal Medicine training in Savannah, GA. She completed her residency in dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where she met Dr. Overholt.
