Dr. Erika D. Friehling

A. Kim Ritchey, MD, is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist and is certified in pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is vice-chair of International Affairs of the Department of Pediatrics at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Tersak earned her bachelor's degree, master’s degree, and  medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her residency and fellowship at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Tersak is extensively involved in clinical research including the evaluation and treatment of patients with new diagnosis. Her research interests include the late effects, quality of life, and neurocognitive outcomes in survivors of childhood cancer and evaluation and treatment of opsoclonus myoclonus in patients with neuroblastoma.
