His current research includes the effect of oral urea on the clinical outcomes associated with chronic non-severe hyponatremia. Other interests include electrolyte physiology and medical education. His interest in medical education focuses on innovative ways to teach fluid, electrolytes and acid-base disorders to residents and students. Dr. Rondon is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Rondon is also a former Harvard Macy Scholar.
