Dr. Nathan Joos is a board-certified otolaryngologist at Memorial Clinic. He is passionate about the practice of ENT and most enjoys tackling the wide variety of ailments that cross his path with a very patient centered approach.
Dr. Joos moved from his practice of 12 years in Illinois to Utah to join Intermountain in early 2023 alongside his wife (a pastry chef) and two daughters. Dr. Diaz has done research in the fields of cancer therapy, transoral robotic surgery, rare head & neck tumors, patient safety, and complex head & neck reconstruction. He has published 24 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, and has several more that are currently in press. He also co-authored two chapters in the authoritative text on transoral robotic surgery by Drs. Weinstein and O'Malley. He has given over a dozen presentations at national and international Society meetings, as well as countless other invited lectures at local and regional medical gatherings. Since 2008, he has reviewed manuscripts that were submitted for publication to several major medical journals. -- Dr. Diaz is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Head & Neck Society. Dr. Diaz is an active member of the Jordan Valley Cancer Committee and the Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Care Program.
