Dr. Dustin E. Kliner
Overview
Dustin Kliner, MD, is an interventional cardiologist and is certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is Co-Director of the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) program at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside and serves as the director of the cardiac cath lab at UPMC Shadyside. He is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Kliner received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, OH and completed residency as well as fellowships in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and advanced interventional cardiology at UPMC.

In addition, Dr. Smith has actively sought to battle health disparities through his active involvement in the Association of Black Cardiologists and through grassroots work in underserved communities around Pittsburgh. He has published several peer reviewed manuscripts and has served as governor of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American College of Cardiology.
