Overview
"Dr. Kulstad is board certified in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism, pediatrics and adolescent medicine, and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from Instituto Technologico de Santo Domingo in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield, WI and his fellowship in adult endocrinology and metabolism at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics-Madison. Dr. Kulstad practices at SSM Health Dean Medical Group in Baraboo, Beaver Dam, and Janesville, WI. He also sees patients at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville, and at Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus. Dr. Kulstad is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Thyroid Association, the American Diabetes Association, and the National Lipid Association. He is also a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the National Med-Peds Residency Association. In his free time, Dr. Kulstad enjoys spending time with his wife and children, bilingual education and language acquisition, and bicultural child development. He is bilingual in Spanish. Dr. Kulstad also enjoys hiking, canoeing, wood splitting, woodworking, running, digital photography and editing, travel, and reading.
